Hey I’m Julie the mummy half of Savvy Jul. The Savvy part is our sweet, happy daughter Savannah. This is our colourful little place to share with you all.
Warning… Don’t expect anything proper on this site, we both have dyslexia, so you are no doubt gunna find grammar and spelling mistakes every corner you turn…. Are you game to go any further???? (concerned scary OCD face hehehe)
I’m a cheeky, quirky soul, a dreamer, lover of life, devoted wife and homeschool mumma, artist, creative DIYer and seeker of Joy!
My brain never seems to switch off, I am forever coming up with creative ideas, there’s a good chance I’ll never use them all, there just aren’t enough hours in the day to cover the constant craziness wishing around in my head!! (seriously I kid you not hahaha)
I am incredibly grateful for the blessed life I lead, and have been lucky enough to marry a loving, supportive man with the same life values as myself. Helping others out has always been a part of our life. If I think there could be an easier, better, cheaper, happier way to do something I’ll find it and share it, that’s who I am. We’ve both been involved in the building industry since our late teens, with renovating and building playing leap frog with each house we’ve owned, we’re up to our 7th house now!
I’m a no fuss (no fake Bullshit) sort of person. With all the Joy, Abundance and Creative gifts waiting to be expressed through us, there simply isn’t time for anything else.
Food intolerances and health conditions have accidentally created a healthy home environment for us, so anything we use or eat in our home is as close to its basic natural state as possible, chemicals and nasties just don’t get a look in.
Enjoy our site, and read along as we laugh, cry, renovate our house, health and bodies and ride this crazy train we call life.
Please feel free to connect with me.
Peace and Blessings Jules xx
