This week we’ll continue with some more helpful tips to keep your vibrational energy rising.
This week I thought I’d talk about another super helpful tip as far as turning your law of attraction in the right direction is considered.
We’re gonna talk about YOU!
How are you feeling?
Now I’m not just being funny, although funny is super important as far as your vibrational energy is concerned for attracting all the good happy stuff your way. But seriously…
How are you feeling?
Just as appreciation was super important, so is how you are feeling.
Because how you are feeling is like a signal you’re sending out to the universe in BIG BOLD PRINT stating how you feel and that you want to attract similar energy like this to you!
Pretty important stuff hey!!
This is one where a lot of people get stuck because to the world they’re displaying this happy façade and telling everyone they’re good, but the underlying feeling can’t be hidden from the universe, which then goes to mess stuff up for you.
It’s the same as when you’re trying to manifest something into your life, and you’ve begged and prayed and pleaded but it isn’t showing up.
The feeling commonly associated with this is a feeling of lack, of desperation and neediness and you’ll just end up getting whatever is floating around because the signal you’re sending out to the universe is so confusing.
On one hand you’re pulling it toward you and the other hand is pushing it away, whenever we tell the universe we want something and at the same time stating but we don’t want something else, we’re really doing our self an injustice with the contradiction we are throwing out there. This usually happens when we truly want something but don’t believe we can have it.
So, it’s important that your feelings line up with your thoughts and words.
It’s like using an affirmation and not believing what you’re saying, it’s kind of pointless, because unless you believe what it is you are saying the signal you’re sending out is not at all what you think it is.
In the book “Ask and it is Given” by Jerry and Esther Hicks, which I totally recommend you get a copy of, it is fab u lous! They provide greater understanding of why it takes us humans so long to manifest our desires.
And I’ll give you a hint, it’s got nothing to do with you not being worthy or not wanting it enough.
It all comes down to the vibration you are sending out. If you don’t match what you want with what you’re sending out, there’s a good chance it’s gonna take you some serious time to get there, if ever.
In other words, “how you are feeling” about what it is you are wanting to come into your life or manifest.
In most cases when it’s not working for you, it usually comes down to having thoughts or feelings that aren’t in alignment with what it is you’re wanting.
If you are feeling tension, anger or frustration, at the same time you’re asking for something, there’s a pretty good chance you are not in alignment with what it is you are desiring.
Now I’m not saying affirmations don’t work, I LOVE affirmations, in fact down below this post you will find a free set of affirmation cards I created to get you started, print them out, hang them around the house or pop them in your wallet, whatever works for you. xx
Some people don’t believe in the whole affirmation thing, and hey that’s their choice. I know Affirmations can get a bit messy if you’re the sort of person who needs proof before you think a certain way, or if you’re the sort of person who easily struggles to turn your thoughts in a different direction. Many people have some very strongly embedded beliefs which do take time to change and may need to start with more gentler affirmations and work their way up to fully believing the I AM in their desired affirmation.
So, lets talk about some examples.
Becoming a millionaire is a popular subject, not for everyone of course, but there’s a lot out there. If you were to use the affirmation
“I AM a millionaire”
and not believe it, you could be causing some serious discord within you, (of course you will know by how it makes you feel when you say it).
In this case it may be a good idea to start with something a little more believable, I’ll give you a few examples.
“There are plenty of millionaires in this world today who have been standing in the same place as I currently am, wanting to become a millionaire but not sure how it was going to come”.
“I believe there are millionaires that have been in this same place as I currently am, wanting to be a millionaire but not having any idea how it was going to come”.
“Each and every day I am closer to becoming a millionaire and it feels great”.
Can you see how these ‘felt’ better and believable? You want to find a feeling of easiness in everything you do, because this is the path of least resistance, and this is the path that will get you to where you want to go.
If there is a ‘stuckness’ within you, you may need to get some extra help. I did!! Why not try a Hypnotherapist or Kinesiologist, my Kinesiologist is fabulous and still helping me release blocks when I hit them, my mind is blown each time I leave with how intuitive and productive she is.
Another way to help get you unstuck is with tapping or EFT. I was introduced to tapping by a Kinesiologist years ago and have since followed Brad Yates on YouTube. Brad has an incredible array of tapping videos that you can follow along with.
Tapping is also fantastic for kids, it’s gentle and non invasive. Brad has written a book (which is available for purchase) which he reads in the following video himself for kids, Savannah loved this when she was younger and below that is an easy to follow along video for kids about tapping out the yukkies, which I also found helpful when she was younger.
I’ve since come across Robert Zink and his STAR Shamanic Tapping system on Youtube. As I’m all for positive and attracting the good stuff, I love how his tapping gets straight to the positive stuff and not on what the problem is which is the traditional way tapping is used. I’ve only just found him in the last couple of days but his positivity is slightly addictive, and him and his wife are just too cute. 🙂
Another thing to remember with manifesting is you can’t dictate to the universe, how, what or who it will come from, your job is to let the universe know what you want, believe that you can have it and then just allow the universe to deliver it to you in which ever way it does.
Now this doesn’t mean if you sit at home on the couch watching tv all day and using affirmations it’s gonna work for you, because YOU know that’s a pretty big long shot.
You have to take inspired action towards your manifestations. You have to be tuned in to listen to what the universe is guiding you to do. Just as you are sending vibrations out to the universe for what you want, you are also receiving vibrations, the art is to follow along as you get them.
A lot of us are so busy and caught up in constant mind chatter that we have no idea this is even going on, every now and then we’ll experience a coincidence and think “Wow that was cool!” but have absolutely no idea how it even came about.
This is why meditation is incredibly important for you. In practising meditation, you are letting go of any resistance, yukky thoughts and simply being, and any moment of your life without resistance is always helpful to you.
Unless of course you’re trying to full on meditate like a Zen monk and getting cranky with yourself because it isn’t happening, may I suggest just finding a quiet task that brings a smile to your soul, i.e. gardening, painting, baking, reading, something you enjoy. 😉
Jerry and Esther Hicks have a handy app called Abraham Hicks Vortex Attraction Guided Meditations. It has several recorded meditations in it, purposely recorded so that you are concentrating on your breathing and whilst you do this you let go of resistance.
When you get into this ‘chilled out’ mode you will become more clear. This clarity will provide the momentum for your desires. The vibration may come through to you as an urge to go somewhere and someone just happens to cross your path that will point you in the right direction with your desire you are wanting to manifest into your life, but you’ll never know unless you take the action steps.
I think this is where it all becomes so magical, because we are actually going about life listening to our inner voice, not being dictated to by a radio, web page or TV program, but just by our own internal navigation system. This in itself is super empowering, trusting and believing in yourself always includes magical “coincidences”.
